Quick curry rice, is a dish that uses a mixture of spices and aromatic vegetables to create a unique taste sensation. The main difference from typical curry is the use of rice rather than potatoes or wheat.

Ingredients

  • 7 oz 7 white rice

  • 1 1/2 cup 1 1/2 vegetable broth

  • 1 whole 1 red pepper

  • 1 whole 1 onion

  • 2 cloves 2 garlic

  • 1 tsp 1 curry powder

  • 1/4 tsp 1/4 pepper

  • 1 small bunch 1 parsley

  • 1/4 tsp 1/4 salt (to taste)

Directions

  • Cook the rice in a vegetable broth. The cooking time depends on the type of rice you use.
  • In a pan, fry the onion that you first cut into small pieces and garlic (cut into small pieces) in a little water until the onion is golden. Add water as necessary.
  • Add the curry, pepper and leave on a low heat for 5 minutes.
  • Add the cooked rice and the sliced peppers and leave on a low heat for a few more minutes.
  • Serve in a bowl and sprinkle with parsley.
