  • It is okay to use salt. Vegetables are enhanced by salt, which also softens and lessens their bitterness.

Deglazing your pot or skillet properly with a few teaspoons, perhaps 2 to 4, of a cold liquid like lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, vegetable broth, or water will unleash more lovely flavors into your soup.

5. Add a Finishing Touch
